Mold and moisture management

Mold remediation should address the moisture source and the affected materials. Schools may experience roof leaks, plumbing failures, condensation, unoccupied summer conditions, humidity, wet carpet, wall-system moisture, and incomplete drying after a previous loss.

Useful reporting can include photographs, affected-area records, moisture or environmental readings when applicable, equipment logs, removed-material notes, daily summaries, estimates, change conditions, and completion information.

Campus housing and large facilities

Dormitories, student housing, athletic complexes, research buildings, and large campus facilities may require phased access, resident communication, restricted rooms, specialized equipment, and coordination across several departments.
